ZAGO MINISTRIES
ZAGO Ministries is a collective of compassionate souls known as the Deacons of Harmony. Our name, rooted in the Italian word “diákos,” reflects our deep spiritual commitment. As deacons, we dedicate ourselves to diverse acts of service, extending beyond the church walls to lead souls toward Jesus. ZAGO Ministries goes beyond making music; it’s a mission fueled by love, faith, and salvation.
In these last days, we embark on a global mission with the three angels’ message, offering hope amidst life’s challenges. Following Christ’s compassionate method, we reach out to individuals in their times of need, urging them to walk the path of life.
Our mission extends to comforting the bereaved, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and sharing meals with those on the streets. In hospitals, we bring hope to those facing various ailments, while in prisons we proclaim forgiveness and liberty also to those ensnared by the shackles of worldly struggles and sin.
At ZAGO, our essence goes beyond musical notes – it’s a harmonious blend of outreach, compassion, and a resounding call to follow the path of love and salvation. Join us on this heartfelt journey of service and spirituality.

MEET OUR TEAM

Zachariah Maluwasa
Musician
I’m Zachariah Maluwasa, born on May 7, 1994, and I’m the fourth child in a family of six. Even though I never met my biological father, I was raised in a God-fearing household by my stepfather, although he was not an Adventist to this day.
Growing up as the fourth son and third to the last born, I faced unique challenges compared to my siblings. With a significant age gap of 10 years between me and my elder brother, I often felt like the abandoned son among relatives, my stepfather, and most of my friends. This distinctive position arose from being considered a promised son to my mother and the entire family. Long before my birth, everyone in the family and among our friends knew my name.
I embraced the Adventist faith from a young age and had the privilege of being baptized in 2007 during a crusade led by Evangelist Ernest Kawonga, with Pastor Right, a senior Malawian pastor. Life has thrown various challenges my way, strengthening my unwavering trust in God. Despite these hardships, I pursued my education and earned a degree in Pure Science, along with other academic achievements.
Mtendere Chizenga
Musician
I’m Mtendere Chizenga, born on December 22, 1997. I came into this world not just as an Adventist but also as the nephew of a pastor. I hail from a family of four, and I am the fourth born, making me the last born. In my family, we are three girls and one boy.
Life threw its challenges at me early on. I experienced hardship from a young age as I lost both my parents when I was just 2 years old. From that point, I found myself under the care of my elderly grandmother. The tough circumstances prevented me from continuing my education like others, but I took on a job at a certain company to provide for my basic needs. Interestingly, through it all, I placed my trust in God, and everything unfolded according to His will.
My roots lie in a singing family in my home country, Malawi. Despite the trials, I made a heartfelt promise to serve the Lord through music and any other means that He deems fit to entrust me with.

Naboth Mugabe
Musician
I am Naboth Mugabe, born on April 6, 1991, at Morgenster Hospital in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. I am happily married to Precious Mugwira, and together we have a precious child named Naboth Munashe Mugabe (with the promise of more little ones soon).
Music has been in my veins from day one. Born into a church setting, I discovered my passion for music at a tender age. By the time I was 6 years old, I was already presenting duets alongside my older brother. At the age of 16, I took on the role of a church Music Director for a sizable congregation of around 2000 members.
My journey took me to South Africa for my degree studies, where I continued to pursue my musical interests. I became a part of the Glorious Sound Choir in East London, adding more layers to my musical experience. In 2023, I became part of the inspirational ZAGO Ministries, where I continue to witness the wonders of God’s work in my life.
Anemutsa Nyadenga
Musician
I’m Anemutsa, born on September 19, 2010, as the firstborn to Grace and Titus Nyadenga, both originally from Zimbabwe. Alongside me is my younger sister, Andidaishe. Currently doing grade 8, my love for music sprouted at an early age, particularly for the piano though I experimented with other instruments. Recognizing this passion, my parents gifted me with a second-hand piano on my sixth birthday, setting the stage for my musical journey.
Pastor Ncqina and Graham Diesel Music have been instrumental in shaping my musical foundation. Under Pastor Ncqina’s guidance, I received lessons and insights, while Graham Diesel Music further honed my skills in music theory and practicals. These experiences laid the groundwork for my musical expression and proficiency.
Since the fourth grade, I’ve been homeschooled, affording me ample time to delve into my musical pursuits. At home, my sister and I collaborate, experimenting with new songs and creating tunes. Beyond our home, I regularly contribute my musical talents during family devotions, at church, and in collaboration with ZAGO music ministries. My musical style is deeply rooted in the Seventh-day Adventist faith, where I actively participate in primary children ministries and progressive classes, currently going through Pathfinder classes and activities. This journey not only defines my musical identity but also intertwines with my spiritual growth.
